At the Heritage Centre, learning all about the glory days of Hayle
Members of Perranuthnoe and District WI recently had lunch out, followed by a talk from Trevor Smitheram, a Cornish Bard, on the heritage of Hayle. The lunch was held at the White Hart Hotel, itself part of Hayle’s heritage, followed by a fascinating illustrated lecture at the Heritage Centre.
All who attended enjoyed it so much they have asked Trevor to give another presentation with slides at a future meeting.
