In collaboration with the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies, the NFWI are promoting the Lonely Bouquet campaign on National Flower Arranging Day, Friday 5 May 2017.
The idea of the Lonely Bouquet is to spread a little joy by making a small bouquet, or even just a single bloom, and leaving it somewhere for a random stranger to find. Last year 60,000 bouquets were made and distributed. Bouquets can be tagged to give details of which WI made the bouquet with contact details. Tags can be downloaded from the NFWI Moodle and the NFWI Website, or you can click here for a .pdf.
If you’d like some ideas about how to make your Lonely Bouquet, you can see step-by-step instructions here. But your bouquet need not be anything complicated – you can leave just a simple single bloom if you’d like.
Spread some joy!
