Mermaids: Mylor and Flushing WI members enjoyed contributing to community festivities by decorating a tree for the Christmas Tree Festival in All Saints Church, Mylor. Many local organisations in Mylor Churchtown and Mylor Bridge decorated a tree, illustrating their own activities, creating lots of interesting and original trees.
The Mermaids also had a very popular stall at Mylor Bridge Christmas Fair where their baked goods, pickles and chutneys soon sold.
An excellent WI Christmas lunch at the popular local pub The Lemon Arms was well attended, and the last meeting of 2023 will be a Christmas social to round off the year.
