It was a very busy day in the WI marquee at the Royal Cornwall Show today!
The judges had their work out for them as the standard of the competition entries this year was so high.
We’re delighted to announce that the winner of the Royal Cornwall Show Cup, on the theme of ‘Our Green and Pleasant Land’, is Ladock WI.
In second place was Pendeen WI.
Mevagissey WI came third.
The Barbara Reed Trophy for a piece of jewellery was won by Jackie Buckingham of Trevone WI.
The Wadebridge Cup for floral art, on the theme of ‘God Save the King’ was won ,by Mandy Nicholson of St Dominick WI.
