Afternoon Tea in a Country Garden! That’s the theme for the competition that our WI’s compete in this year for the chance to win the coveted Royal Cornwall Show competition. We have a fabulous number of entries this year, please spread the word we want as many people as possible to come and see the wonderful work of our members. While here enjoy tea and cakes in our inviting refreshment area – you may even believe you are sitting in a country garden.
However, the WI is about more than just tea and cakes meet members of our Environment and Public Affairs team who will tell you about the issues we campaign about and our Membership team can tell you about what you can gain by joining the WI or watch our craft demonstrations Before you leave ensure you browse the selection of items for sale from our WI Shop stocked with items produced locally or and in line with our ethos, the Market Place where items crafted by our members are for sale or the ever-popular sale of books and jigsaws.
