St Tudy WI members visited Prideaux Place – Padstow’s Elizabethan Manor – for this year’s annual outing. A very informative tour of the house was enjoyed, led by their guide, Carole, after which they had the opportunity to see the beautiful deer being fed, and listened to a brief talk about them and his work by the Deerkeeper. They also had a wander around the gardens and, of course, a lovely cream tea in the Terrace Café. The day was rounded off with a few of the ladies playing a round of croquet on the lawn and the rest watching, and probably laughing at their efforts. A great day out.
