June is here already! How did that happen? Time is flying by, but it’s not too late to join in with The Big Virtual Lunch this weekend on the 6th and 7th of June.
Now more than ever, we need to make time for each other, so what a better way to spend your first weekend of June than a natter with your neighbours over a bite to eat? There are plenty of ways you can join in, whether that’s on the phone, online, or on your doorstep. Check out free resources on The Eden Project’s website to help you plan.
A Lego Big Lunch!
Eden has put together a jam-packed schedule for The Big Virtual Lunch weekend so you can join in online with craft demos, cook-alongs, national tea breaks, story time and, of course, our very own Big Virtual Lunch slot on Saturday and Sunday. Check out the schedule on their website – and you can even book a place at Eden’s (virtual) table!
Hopefully lots of WIs will be getting involved – and whatever you are doing, don’t forget to post your photos to our CFWI Facebook page – and post photos from your Big Virtual Lunches on social media with the hashtags #BigVirtualLunch and #TheBigLunch and tagging @edencommunities. Eden will include as many as they can in their film of the event!
