A Visit to Westcountry Rivers Trust

Jude Wood, Pippa Stilwell and Mary Lindsey from our Environment and Public Affairs Sub-Committee recently visited the Westcountry Rivers Trust stall on Lemon Quay in Truro, as part of their ongoing campaigning work on the WI’s Clean Rivers for People and Wildlife resolution and campaign.

The Trust was there to highlight the tremendous work they do to draw attention to the plight of our rivers. They work with with businesses and communities to achieve change, particularly with citizen scientists monitoring water in their area.

If you’re interested in finding out more about becoming a citizen scientist, just visit the Westcountry Rivers Trust website.
