Members of Cury WI enjoyed a lovely cream tea and a natter on a recent visit to Trevena Cross Nurseries near Helston. Numerous plants were also spotted being purchased.

A New Cornish Bard at Connor Downs and Gwithian WI
At the September meeting of Connor Downs and Gwithian WI, Treasurer Sue Dustow was presented with a rose tree by President Jane Mills to congratulate her on being appointed a Bard at the recent Cornish Gorsedh. Her bardic name is Myrgh Arthur which means Arthur’s daughter. Well done, Sue!
