Free Motor Vehicle Course: For Women by Women

Cornwall College  in Camborne is offering a relaxing environment for women aged 19 and older to enjoy some stress-free automotive learning. This is a completely free course.

You will be able to expand your knowledge of vehicles and how they’re serviced. You’ll learn how to replace a wheel, check your levels and even how to service your own car.

By the end of the course, you’ll leave satisfied that you now know enough about your car to take it into any garage with confidence and know what’s going on behind the scenes.

This will be an all-women’s class, including a female tutor, so there will be plenty of laughs and plenty of questions. Take a few hours out during your week to escape from the world and relax while learning some basic skills.

The class will go step-by-step as you learn the basics. The tutor will talk through any concerns you may have and you can, as a group, go into as much or as little detail as you like.

The course will run on Wednesday evenings from 5pm until 8pm, for six weeks. Timings are flexible to allow for individuals’ needs. The course will be held in the Brunel Building on the Camborne campus of Cornwall College.

You will need to bring with you:

  • Steel toe cap shoes
  • Fit for work/trade clothing
  • An open mind
  • A keen attitude

The next start date is 28 September, ending on 2 November. If you miss these dates, don’t worry – courses will run all year.
