We are holding four Resolution Roadshows in April and would love to see you there!
These events are scattered throughout Cornwall and we hope one of them will be convenient for you. If not, one of the sessions will be held virtually so you are always welcome to log in and join us via Zoom.
We hope you’ve been able to study the proposed resolutions in WI Life and have either already submitted your resolution selection form to WI Adviser Liz Anderson, or are planning to! If you’ve misplaced your form, you can download a copy here. For details about where to send your selection form, please contact the office on 01872 272843 or reception@cornwallwi.org.uk.
Once CFWI has been notified of the final result of the shortlisted resolution selection, we will be able to provide you with more information about the topics. All members are invited to attend a Resolutions Roadshow to gain a good understanding of the issues which can then be cascaded to your members at your Resolutions meeting in May. Delegates to the NFWI Annual Meeting are expected to attend as part of their responsibilities in representing their linking group.
The Roadshows will be held as follows:
- Wednesday 24 April 2024 at Millennium House, Pensilva – 7-9pm
- Thursday 25 April 2024 at Connor Downs WI Hall – 2-4pm
- Friday 26 April 2024 at Chy Noweth an Conteth – 10am-12 noon
- Monday 29 April 2024 via Zoom – 7-9pm
The WI resolutions process has always put members at the heart of decisions about WI campaigns to change current issues in society. Members play a key role in achieving change on important issues, so don’t miss out on the opportunity to have your say.
These events are free, but must be ticketed. At all the sessions except the virtual one, refreshments will be provided. You can book your free place through your own WI or by contacting the CFWI office, but the simplest way to book is through CFWI’s Ticketsource page.
