It was a beautiful afternoon when a group of Mawnan WI members drove over to Enys to enjoy a fascinating and informative tour of the gardens led by the head gardener. The bluebells, which are a huge attraction there, were still out, but there was so much more to interest everyone and lots to learn!
This visit was part of Mawnan WI’s programme of monthly educational trips – coming up will be a walk and talk around Carwinion Gardens.
Later this month, on Thursday 27th June, Bishop Chris will be talking to members about walking the Camino Way. This meeting is open to men and women in the community. Entrance will be by donation to the local charity, St Petroc’s, and the meeting will start at 7:15pm in Mawnan Memorial Hall. Everyone will find a warm welcome.
