CLOSING DATE: MONDAY 22 JANUARY
On 21 February we have a real treat for you! A representative from the Morrab Library Photo Archive will be with us to give an illustrated talk about some places we’re all familiar with in and around Cornwall.
The Archive is a real Cornish treasure, holding some 15,000 glass and celluloidal negatives as well as a very large collection of black and white prints from donated collections. The collection depicts images of life in Cornwall from the early days of photography in the mid-19th century until the late 1970s. Subjects range from studio portraits to sport, fishing to flower-picking and shops to shipwrecks.
The talk begins at 11am, but join us for biscuits and coffee/tea at 10.30am.
Cost: Only £10
Download an application form or contact the office (Monday-Thursday) to book your place: 01872 272843 or reception@cornwallwi.org.uk
