For those of you interested in booking our literary lunch, to be held on 28 September at Budock Vean Hotel, we now have the menu options!
Your delicious two-course meal will consist of a choice of:
- Roast top side of locally reared beef, served with Yorkshire pudding and red wine gravy
- Grilled supreme of locally landed hake, with prawns, capers and nut brown butter
- Mushroom and nut roast, with onion gravy
All the above to be served with a selection of seasonal vegetables
For dessert, you will have a choice of:
- Brownie with clotted cream
- Fresh fruit salad
Followed by tea or coffee
Once you book the event, you will be contacted to make your menu selection.
You can book through your WI Secretary or by downloading and submitting an application form yourself.
Many of you are familiar with Budock Vean, but for those of you who have not been there you are in for a treat. The hotel is set in beautiful and lush surroundings near the Helford River, and we are always assured of a warm welcome.
After our delicious lunch, our speaker, Sarah Pearse, author of the award winning book The Sanatorium and a follow up book, The Retreat, will be on hand to answer your questions in an informal setting.
