Rita Trussler has run Wilcove WI’s monthly flower competition for 14 years and additionally for the last two years, she has run themed competitions based on the previous meeting’s speaker subject.
Having decided to step down from this responsibility, Rita was presented with a WI Certificate of Achievement and bunch of seasonal tulips for her sterling work. Competition is always keen amongst members to be placed first, second or third, and Rita’s excellent record keeping has enabled the overall annual winner, i.e., the member who has won the most times, to be announced each year.
Rita can now relax and enjoy the monthly meetings and socialising with friends.
