Join the Gloucester Federation of WIs for a fully escorted holiday in Gloucestershire next September.
Enjoy seeing Adam Henson’s Farm Park often seen on Countryfile, learning more about the history of this family farm dedicated to saving rare breeds.
Visit the historic city of Gloucester with its famous Cathedral, home to the tomb of a King, site of a Coronation and meeting of Parliament, the only ones outside London, and in more recent times, a filming location for Harry Potter. Explore the small museum dedicated to Beatrix Potter and her connection through The Tailor of Gloucester as well as the docks with their historic buildings, eateries and shopping mall.
You will travel through beautiful countryside and have a chance to visit the charming Cotswold town of Cirencester. The final jewel will be a chance to visit King Charles III’s Garden at Highgrove.
Accommodation will be at a Country House Hotel, Hatton Court situated overlooking Gloucester with views across the Severn Vale.
Cost for half board, en-suite accommodation is £493 per person sharing; single price on request.
