St Stephen-in-Brannel WI invited local author Lamorna Ireland to their July meeting, to talk about her journey as an author, ahead of the launch of her latest book set in Cornwall, Along a Cornish Creek. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Members of Sheffield and District WI formed a mini-choir to sing Tony Christie’s song “Thank You for Being a Friend” to the local residents who live independently in Hutchens House, based in Paul near Mousehole in Cornwall. This was to celebrate Thank You Day 2023.
