At the June meeting of Hessenford WI, members were taught by Marie Bersey to make a Victorian posy. They were then served with celebration cake baked by Hessenford WI President Jackie and raised a glass to toast Her Majesty.

St Tudy WI’s display of 100 years of memorabilia were displayed at their Platinum Jubilee celebrations in the Village Hall. The display was admired by many – and hopefully will encourage new members!  

The Hayle WI gardening group has been busy re planting the WI flowerbed on Penpol Terrace; and made this glorious crown in celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee as a centrepiece.

Mabe WI recently celebrated their 100th birthday, with a celebration lunch held at the Penmorvah Manor Hotel, near Falmouth.  Well done on 100 years, Mabe WI!
